I find that the colour navy appears in my wardrobe way too often, but I still can’t get enough of its versatility. This asymmetric skirt has been the latest addition to my summer wardrobe. I pair it with a relaxed fit striped tee or a white silk top, offset by an orange or coral nail polish.
I pay a lot of attention to my nails and the nail polishes I wear. It’s a big part of my appearance and nothing boosts my confidence more than trimmed, polished nails. When it comes to choosing the colour of the nail polish, I am someone who plays it safe. When watching some of the recent NYFW shows, I was thrilled to see the popularity of beige and sheer pink hues. They were also referred to as ‘the nail foundations’. These are my three choices to add into my work-day nail arsenal.
It’s not often I wear pants to work, have always felt more pulled together in a skirt and a blouse. I also find it extremely challenging to shop for pants that fit well. Despite having a relatively standard body-shape, classic pants don’t often look flattering on me. A couple of months back, I was walking passed Marcs and saw these ink blue pants which I decided to try on. To my surprise, they were a perfect fit and I bought them without thinking. I normally pair them with a black silk button-down for a sleek office look.
